In response to the growing concern about the Coronavirus (COVID-19), leadership at the Oak Park Arms has made the decision to prohibit the public from all activities and events. Such events will take place but are limited to residents only. We look forward to welcoming the public into Oak Park Arms events and activities again very soon.
Taught by Roberta Kulik, the Oak Park Arms’ monthly tap dance workshop takes place at noon, Thursday, March 19, 2020 at the Oak Park Arms, 408 S. Oak Park Ave.
Kulik will teach basic tap moves that can be done either sitting or standing. Tap shoes are welcome but not required. This type of dance is a left-brain/right-brain workout great for coordination, balance and memory.
The Oak Park Arms is a rental retirement community which provides senior housing in the form of senior independent living and assisted living apartments. Additional services include respite care and an award-winning adult day care program. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay – a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
Typically the workshop is free and open to the public. Currently this event is limited to residents only. For more information call 708-386-4040
