The Monday Night Concert Series features critically acclaimed singer Spider Saloff at 7 p.m. Monday, December 10, at the Oak Park Arms retirement community, 408 S. Oak Park Ave. The Monday night concerts are free and open to the public.
Saloff will present a collection of songs about love, many from the Great American Songbook. She will interject her own special brand of humor into the performance with antidotes about the songs and love itself.
Since the great success of her nationally syndicated radio series “Word & Music,” Saloff is known as one of the great interpreters of the American Songbook. She has been endorsed by both the estates and families of George and Ira Gershwin and Irving Berlin.
Saloff will perform with pianist Jeremy Kahn.
