Oak Park Arms Senior Living will host an event titled, “Oak Park Election Forum,” featuring three candidates for the Oak Park Library Board at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, at the retirement community, 408 S. Oak Park Ave., Oak Park. This event is free and open to the public.
The forum will feature Daniel Suber, Megan Butman, and Bruce Brigell, who are all running for seats on the Oak Park Library Board. The forum will begin with a short introduction to the Oak Park elections taking place in April.
The three candidates at the Oak Park Election Forum will present their platforms, which focus on three key areas: Better Governance, Intellectual Freedom, and Library for All.
Election day is April 1, 2025, and Oak Park residents will vote for positions on the library board as well as for village president, village board of trustees, local school boards, and park district. Early voting begins March 17.
“We are delighted to host this important forum for our residents and the community,” said Moses Williams, executive director of the Oak Park Arms. “Providing a platform for candidates to share their views and engage with the public is a vital part of the democratic process. We believe this event will be informative and beneficial for all attendees.”
