Noteworthy Show Choir rocked the house at the Oak Park Arms
Noteworthy, the award-winning show choir from Oak Park River Forest High School, performed for seniors and the community at the Oak Park Arms Senior Living, on Tuesday, November 29.
The song and dance ensemble is composed of 20 or more students who present show tunes and holiday favorites, all with choreography.
“Our residents were so happy to have the high schoolers join us for the entertainment this year,” said Renee Steingard, director of resident engagement at the Oak Park Arms. “We used to have Noteworthy concerts often, so having them back after a couple years was very special for the seniors. Intergenerational programs are so much fun for everyone involved.”
Now in its eleventh year, Noteworthy is a selective group of singers, dancers, and live band members who perform for the Oak Park and River Forest community and Chicago throughout the fall and holiday season.
