The Children’s Chorus of the Oliver Wendell Homes School and the Oak Park Arms Senior Chorus will partner in a musical celebration of peace at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Oak Park Arms, 408 S. Oak Park Ave.
Selections include songs by Pete Seger and John Lennon as well as a Quaker song.
The Children’s Chorus is conducted by Anjolie Karia, and the Senior Chorus is conducted by Desi Vasquez, activities director at the Oak Park Arms.
Oak Park Arms Senior Living is a rental retirement community which provides senior housing in the form of independent living. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay – a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
