The Monday Night Concert Series features the Ryan and Madsen Duo at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, at the Oak Park Arms, 408 S. Oak Park Ave. Pianist Jim Ryan and singer/guitarist Mark Madsen will present the best in jazz.
A professional musician since 1962, Ryan is a writer and producer of commercial music for television and radio. His piano artistry and musical sensitivity are well known in the musical world. He has performed for 31 years with Andy’s Jazz Club and with the Symphony Center, Ravinia Festival, Hyde Park Jazz Festival, Millennium Park, Pianoforte Chicago and the Jazz Showcase.
A performer for more than three decades, Mark Madsen has appeared as a singer, musician and entertainer all across the United States. From rock to pop, to blues, to swing, his performances are truly products of the Chicago melting pot
