Oak Park Arms Senior Living hosted an art show on Friday, December 6, 2024, featuring works by artists from Opportunity Knocks, a non-profit organization that empowers adults with disabilities. The opening reception, held in the Oak Park Arms’ art gallery, brought together residents, artists, and supporters for an evening of celebration and artistic appreciation.
“We are thrilled to welcome Opportunity Knocks to Oak Park Arms,” said Renee Steingard, director of resident engagement at the Oak Park Arms. “Their unique artwork adds a beautiful dimension to our community and provides a wonderful opportunity for residents to engage with local artists.”
The showcased art featured a variety of styles, reflecting the talents and vision of each Opportunity Knocks artist. The captivating paintings sparked conversation and inspired residents. Art will be on display and open to the public for viewing until Jan. 1, 2025.
