The Monday Night Concert at the Oak Park Arms features an evening of jazz with vocalist Dee Alexander and pianist Jeremy Kahn at 7 p.m. Monday, February 5, at the Oak Park Arms, 408 S. Oak Park Avenue.
Dee Alexander is one of Chicago’s most gifted and respected female vocalists. Her talents span every music genre and a favorite is jazz. Besides being a headliner in her own right, Alexander has shared the stage with Michael Bolton, Ahmad Jamal, David Sanborn, Earl Klugh, Gerald Albright, Roy Ayers, Joshua Redman and the O’Jays.
The Monday Night Concert Series, which is free and open to the public, is dedicated to presenting small ensembles, primarily solos, duos and trios.
