Students from Brooks Middle School will perform at 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, and a performance from students of Hatch Elementary will follow at 6:30 p.m. at the Oak Park Arms retirement community, 408 S. Oak Park Ave.
BRAVO is an award-winning, nationally recognized performing arts program at Brooks Middle School which helps students discover and develop skills and talents through drama, voice, dance, stage crew and other forms of artistic expression.
The BRAVO program often collaborates with elementary schools. It provides outreach programs throughout the year, and annually, it participates in the Junior Theater Festival.
Tina Reynolds is the artistic director and program manager of BRAVO. She will direct the students from these two schools as they present a back-to-back concert event for the public.
Oak Park Arms Senior Living is a rental retirement community which provides senior housing in the form of independent living. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay – a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
