The Oak Park Arms’ Readers’ Theatre Ensemble meets and performs at 2 p.m. every Tuesday afternoon in the Ballroom at the Oak Park Arms, 408 S. Oak Park Ave. This event is free and open to the public. Upcoming dates include March 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31, 2020.
The Arms’ Reader’s Theatre, comprised of residents and community members, rehearse weekly. No experience is required, and members do not need to memorize lines.
The Oak Park Arms is a rental retirement community which provides senior housing in the form of senior independent living and assisted living apartments. Additional services include respite care and an award-winning adult day care program. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay – a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
