The Summer Jazz Festival continues with the Jeannie Lambert Trio at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, at the Oak Park Arms, 408 S. Oak Park Ave.
The group is comprised of vocalist Jeannie Lambert, pianist Bob Doogan, and Russ Phillips on trombone. Together they will play the great American standards from the 20s, 30s and 40s.
Lambert sings vocals and has performed with groups such as Larry Elgart’s Big Band as well as at the Chicago Jazz Fest and the LA Sweet & Hot Music Festival.
